I’m only including this in the interest of continuity and accuracy. It’s really not that exciting.
It was a 2000 Vauxhall Vectra SRi 2.6 Sri – yes, 2.6. To be fair, it was a bit of a monster and in terms of condition and spec it was probably one of the nicest cars I’ve had.
About a Vectra.
Talk about low standards. Anyway, here it is…
It was fast, sort of safe, shiny and it made lovely V6 noises. Then the baby mama did this to it…
She also forgot to calculate VAT into our wedding bill, which came to the best part of £1500. So guess what got sold? Yup, BUH-BYE VECTRA!
Shame, I liked that car. Not to worry though, I took the next logical vehicular step and bought a Cortina estate with a portion of the sale proceeds. As you do.
